Charlie & Lola: Everything Is Different And Not The Same And Other Stories (Cert. U, out 12 October)

Charlie & Lola have shot to super-stardom amongst Britain's pre-schoolers over the past few years. Their 11th (!) DVD release meets all expectations. While youngsters will enjoy the 9 episodes on offer, parents can feel smug knowing that they are supporting homegrown talent. The disc is very well designed & easy to navigate, with audio visual menus instead of the usual text-based episode list, so kids can find their way around the disc without calling out for help at the end of every episode. A completely lovely disc - perfect for rainy afternoons, but pint-sized fans could request the full Season 3 boxset instead, packed with 27 episodes (also out on 12 October.)
